Educational, not medical advice. Everything on Pep and Peri is general education about perimenopause and menopause. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed clinician who knows your full history.

No provider relationship. Reading this site does not create a doctor-patient or any other professional relationship. Decisions about your health should be made together with a qualified provider.

HRT content. Hormone replacement therapy is well-studied, but the right approach is personal and depends on your symptoms, history, and risk factors. We describe options to help you ask better questions, never to recommend that you start, stop, or change a therapy.

Peptide content. Peptides sit in a newer, loosely regulated space. No peptide is currently FDA-approved for managing menopause symptoms. PT-141 is approved only for a different specific use. We frame peptides as what is being explored and what to ask a provider about, never as a recommendation or a claim of safety or effectiveness.

In an emergency. If you have chest pain, severe or sudden symptoms, thoughts of harming yourself, or anything that feels like an emergency, call your local emergency number or seek immediate care. Do not wait.

Your choices are yours. You are responsible for the health decisions you make. Please use this site as a starting point for conversations with people qualified to advise you.
